Residents are being urged to line the streets and cheer on an inspiring fundraising challenge as BBC Children in Need rolls into the Harrogate district.

BBC Look North presenter Amy Garcia and Rob Burrow's widow, Lindsey Burrow will push the programme's iconic red studio sofa an incredible 80 miles across Yorkshire over five days as part of the Push for Pudsey challenge, raising money to help children and young people.
The challenge gets underway on Monday, November 9, with its opening stage taking place entirely within the Harrogate district, beginning in Ripon Market Square, travelling through Bishop Monkton, Burton Leonard, Ripley, Harrogate and Starbeck, before finishing in Knaresborough Market Place.
Organisers are encouraging local people to come out along the route to support the pair as they tackle around 20 miles while pushing the specially adapted sofa.
The challenge reunites Amy with Lindsey Burrow, who has become one of Yorkshire's most recognisable charity fundraisers following a series of endurance events in memory of her late husband, Leeds Rhinos and England rugby league legend Rob Burrow.
Last year, the pair completed a three-legged walking challenge for BBC Children in Need, raising tens of thousands of pounds, but both admit this year's feat could prove even tougher.
Lindsey said: "We did a test push for about 500 yards and it's a lot harder than I expected.
“I think it's going to be a real challenge, to say the least."
Amy added: "It's going to be a slog, but it's such an incredible opportunity to meet our viewers.
“Lindsey and I are both mums and we are passionate about trying to help other children who don't get the same opportunities."
Throughout the five-day challenge, the pair will visit projects funded by BBC Children in Need, meeting children, young people and volunteers whose lives have been changed through the charity's support.
The route then continues across South and West Yorkshire before finishing in Wakefield on Friday, November 13, the day of the BBC Children in Need Appeal Show.
