Managed by brothers Patrick and Nick since May 2022, the Bay Tree has been shortlisted as a finalist in the category of Best B&B, the only Harrogate business that has made the cut.

Located at 98 Franklin Road, the luxury B&B with boutique accommodation and a warm welcome boasts nine individually styled en-suite double and king rooms featuring antique furnishings, smart TVs, and mini-fridges stocked with fresh milk and bottled water.

Recent reviews on Tripadvisor for Bay Tree include: “Bay Tree is very special, a real gem and l’m sure it will be a favourite of ours for many years to come”.

The Bay Tree has become accustomed in recent years to winning awards.

Its recent accolades include being awarded Tripadvisor's Travellers' Choice Award for the third consecutive year, which is given to the top 10% of places to stay globally.

And Bay Tree has also been named as one of the top five places to stay in the north of England by Absolute Escapes, a high-end independent Edinburgh-based travel agency.

Such is the Harrogate B&B’s reputation, the town’s MP Tom Gordon sent a handwritten note of congratulations to Patrick and Nick on Houses of Parliament stationery.

The Yorkshire Post Travel & Tourism Awards ceremony will take place at the Royal Armouries in Leeds on Monday, November 30.
