Harrogate music event to celebrate the best-selling hard rock album in music history
“For those about the rock, popular Harrogate music night Vinyl Sessions salutes you at its forthcoming AC DC night”
Responsible for amazing night after amazing night since 2018, the classic album event has, in that time, raised more than £25,000 for Harrogate Hospital & Community Charity.

Taking place on Wednesday, November 11 at Starling Independent Bar Cafe Kitchen in Harrogate, the focus of Harrogate’s unique listening experience this time round will be AC/DC's Back in Black album.
Originally released in July 1980 through Atlantic Records, Back in Black has sold an estimated 50 million copies worldwide since then , making it the best-selling hard rock album in music history and one of the top-selling albums of all time.
The seventh studio album by the legendary Australian rock band, the album marked the debut of vocalist Brian Johnson after the death of Bon Scott and features timeless fan favourites such as Back in Black, You Shook Me All Night Long, Hells Bells and Shoot to Thrill.
The latest Vinyl Sessions evening follows the sold-out success earlier this month of its Amy Winehouse: Back to Black 20th anniversary event.
Presented, as always by Vinyl Sessions founder Colin Paine, the AC DC night will also feature resident music historian, Graham Chalmers of the Harrogate Advertiser, a former artistic director of Harrogate International Festivals Fringe and organiser of Charm gigs and events.
There will also a presentation of relevant video footage to accompany the sounds on vintage hi fi.
Booking in advance is advisable via Eventbrite.
Tickets will go on sale later this week.
Every single penny of revenue goes to Harrogate Hospital.
