Harrogate district village celebrates £1 million Postcode Lottery win
A small village in the Harrogate district is celebrating a huge £1 million Postcode Lottery win, with one lucky player scooping a life-changing £378,272 prize.

The winning postcode of HG3 4AP, in Dacre, was announced as the winner of the lottery's Millionaire Street prize on Sunday, October 25.
A further 88 players across the wider HG3 4 postcode sector are also celebrating after sharing more than £620,000 of the prize money.
The winners will each receive between £6,155 and £18,465, depending on how many tickets they play.
Dacre, which has fewer than 800 residents, sits on a hill overlooking the River Nidd in the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The village attracts walkers and cyclists keen to explore the surrounding countryside.
Judie McCourt, Postcode Lottery Ambassador, said: “Dacre may be a small village, but it now has a million reasons to think big.
“Congratulations to all 89 of the local players who have shared in this amazing win spread across a beautiful rural area of Yorkshire.
“What an amazing event to bring everyone in the community together - hopefully they can all mark it with a big celebration.”
Postcode Lottery costs £12.50 a month to play, with participants using their chosen postcode to enter draws.
The lottery says its players have raised more than £1.8 billion for thousands of charities and local good causes.
