“This year the Bettys window on Parliament Street has been inspired by sending love to far flung friends and family”
Bettys will mark what for many is the real start of Harrogate’s Christmas with the unveiling of its iconic and much-loved Christmas Window later this week.

The great Bettys Christmas Window reveal has become a genuine tradition in the lead-up to Christmas for many – with some even travelling from further afield to get into the Christmas spirit.
Taking place on Friday, November 6, the design of this year’s Bettys festive window on Parliament Street has been inspired by sending love to far flung friends and family, and echoes a time when Christmas travelled by post.
The stunning festive display will showcase beautiful Bettys handcrafted products made to be shared, sent and remembered.
As ever, attendees will be sampling delicious Bettys festive favourites – including mince pies and mulled wine.
Meanwhile, Bettys annual raffle will return offering fantastic Christmas gifts to share with others or keep all to yourself.
All in all, Harrogate’s famous family-run business promises that, just as the bonfires go out, the Christmas lights will come on.
