Wetherby family attraction launches appeal to share festive photos
Stockeld Park family attraction rolls back time to mark 20 years
Popular family attraction, Stockeld Park, is calling on families to dig out their old Christmas photos as it prepares to celebrate 20 years of its much-loved Christmas Adventure.

Stockeld’s festive story began in 2006, when its Christmas tree farm became home to one of the UK's original illuminated trails, and the annual Christmas Adventure magic began.
Since then, Stockeld , near Wetherby, has grown into a year-round family attraction, while Christmas has remained what it's best known for, with experiences including the Winter Illuminations and Santa’s Grotto evolving into a Christmas must-do for many Yorkshire families.

Peter Grant, Owner of Stockeld Park, said: “For 20 years, families have made Stockeld Park part of their Christmas traditions, and we know there must be thousands of brilliant photos and memories tucked away in family albums and camera rolls.
“As we celebrate our 20th year of Christmas magic, we want the families who have been part of our story to help us tell it.
“We’d love people to dig out their old photographs and share the moments that have stayed with them, whether that’s meeting Santa for the first time, wrapping up for the illuminations or simply enjoying Christmas together.
“A lot has changed over 20 years, but that sense of excitement and Christmas magic is still at the heart of what we do. We can’t wait to see what people uncover.”
From first visits to see Santa to family photos beneath the Winter Illuminations, visitors are being invited to share their favourite Stockeld Christmas throwbacks from the past two decades.
Selected memories will feature in a special Memory Lane display at the park, with entrants also in with the chance of winning tickets to this year’s VIP Christmas launch in November.
Launching on 25 November, Memory Lane will celebrate the generations of families who have made Stockeld part of their festive traditions, bringing together photographs from Christmases past and present to show how both the park and its visitors have changed over the years.
