Former Ripon dental practice set to reopen after three years following major investment
"We're delighted to be bringing dental services back to 4 Finkle Street after the building has been closed for around three years”
A former dental practice in the heart of Ripon is set to reopen after standing empty for around three years, bringing dental services back to the city.

Boroughbridge Dental Centre is preparing to open its new sister practice, Ripon Dental Centre, at 4 Finkle Street, with enquiries now being taken from prospective patients ahead of the official opening.
The building served as a dental practice for around 50 years before closing, and the team behind the new venture says it is pleased to be restoring the site to its original purpose for the benefit of the local community.
Planning permission has been approved for the practice to expand from five to seven surgeries, with a number of improvements designed to make the building more accessible and family-friendly.
These include step-free access, an automatic entrance door and a dedicated children's play area.
The new practice aims to provide affordable private family dentistry for patients in Ripon and the surrounding area.
It will also be able to offer limited NHS appointments through Boroughbridge Dental Centre's existing NHS contract.
The opening follows a period of investment by the dental group, which has also recently expanded its Boroughbridge practice with the addition of two new state-of-the-art treatment rooms.
The expansion has enabled the practice to welcome Foundation Dentist Josh and Hygiene Therapist Ffion to the team, both of whom are able to see NHS patients.
A spokesperson for Boroughbridge Dental Centre said: "We're delighted to be bringing dental services back to 4 Finkle Street after the building has been closed for around three years.
“The site has a long history of providing dental care to the people of Ripon, and we're excited to continue that tradition.
"Our investment in both Ripon and Boroughbridge allows us to increase capacity and improve access to dental care for local families.
“We look forward to welcoming patients to our new practice very soon."
The team says the investment across both practices represents an important step in increasing access to dental services across the area, with improved facilities and additional appointments available for local patients.
Ripon Dental Centre is expected to open in November, with local patients already able to register their interest ahead of the launch.
