Exciting 100th anniversary day for Bettys in Harrogate today

The chair of Bettys & Taylors, Lesley Wild will welcome the author of a new book about the famous tea rooms in Harrogate today as part of its current 100th anniversary year celebrations.

Alps to the Dales – 100 Years of Bettys has been published to celebrate Bettys centenary year.

Written by acclaimed author Annie Gray, it tells the 100-year story of Bettys, exploring the journey of our great Yorkshire family business.

The book is fully illustrated with many previously unseen images from our rich Archive and out of the family albums.

To launch the new book, which will be on sale in all branches, Annie Gray will be visiting Bettys branches between today, Tuesday, November 26th and Thursday, November 28.

The locations include Harroagte, York, Northallerton, Ilkley and RHS Harlow Carr.
