Knaresborough care home welcomes new manager

A new manager has been announced by We Care Group for its Bilton Hall Nursing Home in Knaresborough.

Krishnapillai Sivanandarajah, known as Siva, brings with him 35 years’ experience, including two decades within clinical and operational leadership roles in the area.

Having forged strong relationships with regional NHS trusts, GPs, and adult social care teams, Siva – a Registered Nurse - is particularly passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care for those with dementia, and has a BSc (Hons) in Dementia Studies from the University of Bradford.

Speaking about his new role, Siva said: “The whole team has been extremely supportive since I joined Bilton Hall, and I’m settling in well.

"It is a wonderful place with a homely, comforting atmosphere, and I’m keen to get the local community involved as much as possible.

"Whether that’s through fundraising initiatives, volunteering, or hosting events for our residents to enjoy, we want to get everyone involved and we’re hoping to hold some charity events soon.

“I’m also passionate about training the next generation of talent, and I’m dedicated to helping the team learn and develop. It’s an exciting time for Bilton Hall, and I’m looking forward to making a difference.”
