Tickets flying out for 2027 edition of Harrogate music fans' favourite music festival
Tickets sales for a family-friendly summer event often called Harrogate fans’ favourite music festival are already flying out for next year.
Created in 2010 by husband-and-wife team Oliver and Kate Webster-Jones, it’s less than two month since the latest Deer Shed Festival took place headlined by Sleaford Mods.
But so keen are fans to be there next summer, there are now only 100 Tier 1 tickets left for the 2027 event at Baldersby Park near Thirsk.
An independent, highly civilised music, arts, and science event, Deer Shed Festival has grown organically over the last 16 years, mostly through word-of-mouth.

Founders Oliver and Kate had grown frustrated with paying high prices for mainstream festivals that offered poor facilities and uninspiring experiences for children
Built on an expertly curated programme each time – previous acts include Dry Cleaning, Johnny Marr, Saint Etienne, the Wedding Present, Dry Cleaning, CMAT, John Grant and Kae Tempest – attendance has grown from around 7,000 to 10,000, with a strong all-ages demographic.
The two-day festival balances handpicked indie music with comprehensive science workshops, comedy, theatre, literature, and children's activities, not to forget a high quality food and drink offer.
Not only are the Tier 1 tickets running out for Deer Shed 2027, the Camping Plus have also sold out in record time.
But the good news is that the festival’s handy 10-month payment plan is now available online.
Next year’s event will run from July 23-25.
