A new fried chicken and pizza takeaway has officially opened its doors in Harrogate, with owners thanking customers after a successful launch weekend.
Chicos Fried Chicken & Pizza, located on Commercial Street, welcomed its first customers during its grand opening on Sunday, November 1, and says it was overwhelmed by the support shown by residents.
Visitors to the grand opening were treated to a range of giveaways, including free pizza, goodie bags and vouchers for children.
Following the successful launch, the business has confirmed it is now open seven days a week from 12pm until late, serving a menu that includes fried chicken, pizzas, burgers, kebabs and a range of sides.
In a message shared on social media, the team said: "What an incredible grand opening.
“We just want to take a moment to say a massive thank you to everyone who came down, supported us and made our grand opening such a fantastic day.
"The turnout was amazing, and we're so grateful for all the love and support from our customers, families, friends and the Harrogate community.
“We loved seeing so many of you and hope you all enjoyed the food."
The takeaway occupies the former Chico's Continental premises on Commercial Street, bringing the well-known town centre site back into use.
Customers can order online through the takeaway's website or by calling 01423 564584, with both collection and delivery available.
The team added: "Thank you once again for making our opening so special.
“We can't wait to see you all again soon."
