Two of Harrogate’s most respected independent galleries are launching new exhibitions for the festive season.
108 Fine Art and RedHouse Gallery both focus on current and contemporary art, with the latter veering a little towards work influenced by street art and music.
Located at 16 Cold Bath Road, 108 Fine Art’s new show is called Sensations and features paintings by British artists Rachel Sedman and Calum McClure.
Running, with a private opening on Saturday, November 14, until Saturday, December 19, Sensations will present two distinct collections of paintings, each with its own interpretation of the world around us, exploring the relationship between sound, movement, light and stillness.
Meanwhile, RedHouse’s latest show will see Scandanavian artist Danny Larsen returning to the UK this month following his recent participation in prestigious exhibitions at the National Museum in Oslo and the Nordic Museum in Seattle.
Located at 15 Cheltenham Mount, his new collection Silver Linings will feature 20 watercolour created paintings whilst recovering from broken ribs following a bike accident.
Running from November 12 to December 12, Larsen’s new artworks will be complemented by a works by a host of exciting modern and contemporary artists.
