Wetherby care home invites people to have a cuppa and conversation
People across Wetherby are being invited to come together for tea, coffee and conversation at a new weekly Community Tea Room.

Anchor’s Wetherby Manor care home is opening its doors to the local community every Thursday, starting in November, from 9.30am-noon, with residents, families and local people all welcome to attend.
Visitors can enjoy complimentary tea, coffee and refreshments in the home’s café and lounge spaces, providing an opportunity to meet new people, catch up with friends and spend time with residents.
Caroline Bryon, Home Manager at Wetherby Manor, said: “We’re delighted to open our doors and invite people from across Wetherby to join us each week.
"Whether you’re meeting friends, looking to make new connections or simply fancy a cuppa, everyone is welcome.
“Being part of our local community is really important to us, and we hope the Tea Room will become a place where residents and local people can come together and get to know one another.”
The Community Tea Room also gives families, neighbours and local groups an opportunity to find out more about life at Wetherby Manor and the activities available to residents.
Wetherby Manor provides residential, dementia, nursing and respite care and regularly hosts activities bringing residents and the wider community together.
