For the very first time over a million twinkling lights and seasonal sounds will fill the air with festive fun at Christmas At Roundhay Park.

From a flickering fire garden, to wild wicker sculptures and magical light installations, picture perfect instagram moments are guaranteed with the park transformed into a winter wonderland, on selected nights from December 8, 2022 to January 1, 2023.

A timed entry system is in place and with popular weekend and early evening time slots expected to sell out fast, organisers are urging festive fun-seekers to buy their tickets now for the event which opens 4.30pm, last entry 8pm and closes at 10pm.

This brand new trail, an unmissable outdoor experience, will featuring larger than life illuminations and much-loved seasonal music coming to one of the biggest city parks in Europe.

Spend quality time with loved ones, creating everlasting memories, with the chance to wander between striking light installations designed by a range of international artists, all carefully choreographed to a soundtrack of much-loved festive music.

Sparkling tunnels of light and dancing lakeside reflections, giant baubles and glistening trees drenched in jewel-like colour will compliment moments of reflection, to pause at mesmerising flickering flames and gaze at larger-than-life illuminations.

Independent street food vendors bring a delicious twist with tasty treats on offer. Complete your walk under the stars with a spiced winter warmer or hot chocolate shared with friends and family.

Everyone loves toasting a marshmallow over an open fire and the artisan marshmallow stall gives visitors the chance to warm their hands and enjoy this sweet outdoor tradition.

Christmas At Roundhay Park is brought by Sony Music and the trail is created by Culture Creative.

Roundhay Park has more than 700 acres of parkland, lakes, woodland and gardens which are owned by Leeds City Council. The park is one of the most popular attractions in the city with over a million visitors annually, and hosts festivals and events throughout the year.

Sony Music has been delivering themed illuminated trails for over eight years. Each trail is designed to showcase the natural and unique environment of the individual location and to immerse visitors into a world of light, fire and soundscape.

They currently have 30 trails across the UK, Europe, USA, and Australia.
