Two firms 'delighted' to move their headquarters to new fantastic base at Knaresborough
Knaresborough’s St James Business Park has been hailed “a fantastic base” after two healthcare businesses decided to move their headquarters to there.
The relocation by The Association for Perioperative Practice (AfPP) and Andway Plus to the business park located next to the retail park off Grimbald Crag Road, means it is now fully let.
Alex Duke, Chief Executive of AfPP, the UK’s leading membership organisation for perioperative professionals, said: "This move is far more than a change of address.
"It is an important milestone in AfPP’s journey and reflects our ambition for the future.

"Our new headquarters provides a fantastic base for our team in a thriving local business community and gives us the space and flexibility to develop new services, education and professional support for our members and the wider perioperative workforce."
Andrew Ledgeway, Director of Andway Plus , the health and hygiene supplies company, said: “Our new space here at St James’s Business Park is an ideal location on the edge of Knaresborough.
"We needed somewhere light and airy with plenty of room, close to local amenities and to major routes across the North” added Andrew Ledgeway, Andway Plus Director.
St James’s Business Park in Knaresborough was developed in the late 2000s as a modern commercial, office, and industrial extension adjacent to the Knaresborough bypass.
The first tenants moved into the newly-developed business units in 2014.
Situated off the A59/A658 Harrogate Southern Bypass, the site sits directly next to the larger St James Retail Park, (home to major brands such as M&S Foodhall and Boots
The two healthcare organisations have each signed a three-year lease for their new office spaces which are owned by West and North Yorkshire property company, Gaunts Ltd.
