We take a look at 20 dogs that are currently looking for their forever home at the RSPCA York, Harrogate and District branch…
5. Buddie
Buddie is a six-year-old Jack Russel Cross who is a really sweet boy that came to the centre as his previous owner could sadly no longer keep him. Buddie can be a little shy when meeting people for the first time but it doesn't take him very long to come round. He loves his little walks and spending time with his people and he is looking for a nice quiet home with a family who will love and cherish him. Photo: RSPCA
6. Martini
Martini is a five-year-old Collie Cross who came to the centre via an inspector after she was discovered in a terrible condition along with over more than 100 dogs. Martini is extremely nervous of people she doesn't know and finds new situations very overwhelming. Unfortunately her inexperience of the outside world has left her with trust issues when it comes to meeting new people. Once you are lucky enough to gain her trust though, she is a very loving, playful and cheeky girl who will make you smile every day. Photo: RSPCA
7. Chloe
Chloe is a nine-year-old Collie Crossbreed who came to the centre via an inspector after she was discovered in a terrible condition along with over more than 100 dogs. Chloe understandably can be slightly nervous of people she does not know but once she has learnt to trust you she will be your best friend and a very loving and loyal dog. She will need patient adopters who will help her put her traumatic past behind her and show her what being part of a loving family feels like. Photo: RSPCA
8. Aubree
Aubree is a 12-month-old Lurcher who came to the centre via the local dog warden extremely underweight and very hungry. Aubree is a very sweet, active and energetic dog and she loves life. Aubree has not really had any basic training in her previous home and can be a little boisterous at times. She is young and eager to please so training with her should be so much fun. Aubree is a super young dog who will make an active family a very lovely addition to the family. Photo: RSPCA
