Harrogate residents hit by burst water pipe incident this morning

Harrogate MP's shock over free school meal packages as parents' complaints mount

The incident, which has led to problems with low water pressure, has happened on Crescent Road near the Hales Bar pub.

A resident said: "A Yorkshire water man on the street told me there is a massive pipe burst - about 9 inches wide hole in it near hales bar. Unfortunately he said it’s quite a job so will easily take all day to fix."

The situation is being addressed by Yorkshire Water's repair team.
