Harrogate and Ripon businesses win Deliciously Yorkshire Taste Awards 🏆
Two food and drink producers in the Harrogate district are celebrating after being named among the winners at the Deliciously Yorkshire Taste Awards 2026.

Harrogate Brewing Co. scooped the Best Beer & Cider title, while Rosebud Preserves was crowned winner of the Best Sweet Spread & Preserve category during the prestigious awards ceremony held at Pavilions of Harrogate.
Now in their 22nd year, the Deliciously Yorkshire Taste Awards celebrate the very best of the county's thriving food and drink industry.
The awards are the largest of their kind in the North of England, attracting hundreds of entries from producers, retailers, restaurants and hospitality businesses across Yorkshire.
The black-tie awards evening saw guests enjoy a menu showcasing many of the shortlisted and winning products, with winners announced across 26 categories.
Judging took place in early September and was carried out by a panel of industry experts, chefs, supermarket buyers, food writers, consultants and entrepreneurs.
After tasting hundreds of entries, the judges selected finalists before choosing this year's winners.

Head Judge Nigel Barden said: “The Taste Awards are a real testament to the strength of our industry here in Yorkshire, and these awards go from strength to strength, attracting entries from new and innovative businesses, as well as from those famous Yorkshire stalwarts we all know and love.
“Being involved in the judging is always so exciting, and it’s encouraging to uncover something new and delicious each time.
“It’s great to see that businesses here in God’s own county continue to innovate, collaborate and thrive, producing products of such a high standard.”
Harrogate Brewing Co's success in the Best Beer & Cider category highlights the continued strength of the town's independent brewing scene, while Rosebud Preserves' victory recognises the quality of its artisan preserves, which have become a favourite with customers across Yorkshire and beyond.
