Police appeal for witnesses after street fight in Bilton area of Harrogate

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information after an altercation involving a group of men on Knox Chase in Harrogate.

The incident involved five men of varying ages physically fighting in the street and occurred on Friday, April 16 at around 7.40pm.

During the incident numerous residents of the area were out in the street attempting to de-escalate the situation.

The incident was very distressing for local residents and some of the men involved suffered facial injuries.

Police are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to get in touch by calling 101 and quoting reference number: 12210099520.

North Yorkshire Police said: "Please note, if you have already been approached by police in connection with this incident there is no need to get in touch again."
