Estate agent Linley and Simpson says it has already sold seven out of 19 apartments at the Southfield and Ellis House scheme in the town centre.

The former Southfield House office building, at the corner of York Place and Station Parade, with views over The Stray, has been converted into nine apartments.

Ellis House, a new building next door on Station Parade, houses a further 11 contemporary apartments with undercroft parking serving both buildings.

Completion of the development was marked by a visit by TV celebrity interior designer Linda Barker, while a new video of the show apartment has just been released, allowing potential buyers to have a look inside, despite lockdown rules restricting physical viewings.

Prices start from £215,000 for a one-bedroom, ground-floor apartment, rising to £649,500 for a two-bedroom, third-floor property.
