Works complete on luxury apartment scheme in Harrogate

North Yorkshire property developer, Quattro Property Group, has completed work on its Southfield and Ellis House luxury apartment scheme in Harrogate with 40 per cent already sold in the Southfield building.

The development on Station Parade also launched its second show apartment at Ellis House on last Saturday.

The contemporary 20-apartment one and two-bed development, with many overlooking The Stray, has been delivered despite a challenging climate due to the pandemic.

Appointed agents, Linley & Simpson’s Harrogate office has seen unprecedented expressions of interest in the scheme due to pent up demand post Covid lockdown and the stamp duty holiday, which is currently fuelling a surge in the UK housing market.

Quattro has also joined forces with TV celebrity interior designer Linda Barker to offer buyers who reserve an apartment an exclusive personal interior design consultation to include the creation of mood boards for three rooms of the buyers’ choice.

The Yorkshire-born designer recently visited the development to take a look around the scheme and to view the latest show apartment.

The development has been designed with the ultimate attention to detail with high quality, contemporary interiors in a premier location. Discerning buyers can also access green open space with a range of shopping, restaurants and leisure attractions on the doorstep.

The former Southfield House office building has been converted into nine apartments, alongside Ellis House, a new building which houses a further 11 contemporary apartments with undercroft parking serving both buildings.

Appointed contractor, Leeds-based Castlehouse Construction delivered Practical Completion this month despite challenging and stringent Covid 19 conditions.

Sitting in a conservation area on the corner of Station Parade and York Place, the development has been sensitively designed to breathe new life into this strategically located site while simultaneously uniting the development with the surrounding architecture and history to provide contemporary apartments of the highest standard.

Kris Carpenter, Development Director of Quattro Property Group, said: “When the opportunity arose to purchase the former office building in such a prime position overlooking The Stray, we had a vision of how the space could be redeveloped into an outstanding apartment development.

David Waddington, Linley & Simpson added: “We are enjoying strong market demand for quality apartments in North Yorkshire and this one is not to be missed.

“There has definitely been a surge in enquiries for this primary location in Harrogate following the lockdown and we look forward to showing interested parties around the new show apartment on our forthcoming open day.”
