Cheers! Daleside backs new comedy talent

Comedian of the Year contest at Harrogate Comedy Festival - Vincent Staunton (Daleside Brewery), winner MC Africa Zulu, Chris Lewington (Daleside Brewery) and Harrogate Comedy Festival compere Danny Duggan.

Popular Harrogate craft brewers Daleside helped bring some smiles at this year’s Harrogate Comedy Festival when they sponsored the Comedian of the Year contest.

As well as winning a slot in the closing Hyena Comedy Club gala, Peter (MC Africa Zulu) received a Daleside Gift Pack.

And the Starbeck-based real ale brewery also gave a gift pack to the compere Danny for his excellent hosting.

For this year’s event, Dalesidce actually created a new beer ‘Comedy Gold’.

The last few bottles of this eminently quaffable Comedy Gold Ale can be found at Le Bistrot Pierre restaurant in Harrogate and at the circle bar in Harrogate Theatre - plus there are a few left to be had from the brewery itself!

Daleside Brewery will be attending the Harrogate Christmas Market from November 27- November 30.
