The Raworths Harrogate Literature Festival event will see Susie Dent as the lunchtime speaker at The Crown Hotel in Harrogate.

The renowned English lexicographer, etymologist, and media personality is the resident word expert in ‘Dictionary Corner’ on Channel 4’s Countdown and on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown hosted by Jimmy Carr.

As well as appearing on a plethora of other TV shows, Susie also writes a weekly column for the Radio Times and reviews for The Spectator.

It’s even been picked out as “one of the UK’s best Literary Festivals” by Harpers Bazaar and “one of the Top 3 Literary Festivals in the UK” by the Guardian.
