Summer set to be a roaring time

Visitors to a Wetherby family attraction can expect to turn back time to the day of the dinosaurs.

Stockeld Park is set to launch tickets for its Jurassic Summer, on Saturday June 19.

“The dinosaurs are back at Stockeld park for our amazing Jurassic event,” said Marketing Manager Celeste McFarland.

“It’s time to come out of hiding this summer.”

Visitors are challenged to reawaken their sense of adventure with five adventure playgrounds.

Take a walk on the wild-side, through the enchanted forest, and become an explorer for the day and see how many dinosaurs they can discover?

Brand new for summer 2021 is Jurassic mini golf.

Jurassic Summer at Stockeld Park, runs from July 24-September 6, 10am-6pm.

Stockeld Park’s annual family music festival is returning this August bank holiday and organisers say it is guaranteed to be bigger and better.

Stockeld Rox has been announced this week as one of the events planned to return to the area as the country moves out of Covid-19 restrictions.

“This year, on the evening’s of 29th and 30th August, Stockeld Park have prepared an amazing line up of some of the most renowned tribute acts, including the likes of Madonna, Jessie J, Rita Ora and Take That, ” said a spokesman for the popular family theme park.

“On each night there will also be a live DJ supported by presenters from Your Harrogate Radio, and delicious food and drinks.

“Stockeld Rox will be an evening of live entertainment and fun that you and your family will not want to miss.”

They added: “On both nights, Take That will be closing the show with a spectacular firework finale.”

There will be a variety of ticket options available to buy, from socially distanced VIP boxes to general admission tickets.

Stockeld Rox tickets launched online on May 29 on the Stockeld Park website.

Stockeld Park this year announced that it is to invest several million pounts and create dozens of new jobs in creating one of Europe’s biggest indoor children’s play centres in Yorkshire in 2022.

The Playhive will feature a series of themed and interconnected adventure zones.
