Knaresborough Players’ panto line-up has been revealed ahead of the show at the Frazer Theatre in January and February next year.
A cast of 14 plus mixed age chorus will perform the show directed by Dee Dawson at the Frazer Theatre from January 31 2013.
After two hours of auditions and nervous waiting on Tuesday, October 9, the successful auditionees were congratulated on securing their roles in the show.
Along with the mixed-age chorus, the following were delighted to discover who they would be playing:
Robin Hood (Principal Boy) – Sally Smith; Maid Marion (Heroine) – Marie Chapman; Nurse Molly Coddle (Dame) – Colin Smith; Sheriff of Nottingham – James Galloway; The Fairy – Brenda Anderson; “Dangerous” Dave Knave – Janet Darwin; Friar Tuck – John Pearce; Little John – Nigel Morgan; Will Scarlet – Amanda Martin; Alana Dale – Doreen Driffield; Pip – Chris Wallacott; Penny – Emily Kay; Block – Noelle McCreath; Tackle – Beth Metcalfe

The next show at the Frazer Theatre will be Willy Russell’s “One for the Road” also presented by the Knaresborough Players.
The play stars Kathryn Leigh, Gavin Jones, Deborah Simpkin and Howard Corrin an is directed by Beth Metcalfe.
Performances are on Thursday, November 22 to Saturday, November 24 at 7.30pm.
