Comedy's finest line up for festival at the Frazer

The Knaresborough Comedy Festival runs at the Frazer Theatre over the next two weekends.

Friday July 20 at 8pm: Ivo Graham has won no end of plaudits and visits the Frazer for the first time.

Jim Tavare was the first act at the Frazer Theatre Comedy Club four years ago and now the master of deadpan is back with a remarkable, but hilarious, story to tell.

On Saturday July 21: two of the most popular acts to perform at the Frazer – the Australian force of nature that is John Robertson returns with another hour of comedy magic.

Then Christian Reilly, possibly the finest musical comedian this country has ever produced, brings a collection of songs old and new.

Following the double bill show the Dark Room with John Robertson is back.

Friday July 27 at 8pm: Nick Doody is one of the favourite acts to have performed at the Frazer Theatre Comedy Club.

Geoff Norcott is a first-timer at the Frazer, but it’s hard to escape the meteoric rise to fame he’s been enjoying in the last year. Playing the biggest gigs and appearing on some of the most popular TV shows around,

Geoff is becoming a comedy force to be reckoned with.

On Saturday July 28 the closing night of the Knaresborough Comedy Festival features two stars in one of the biggest evenings of entertainment the club has presented.

Sarah Keyworth was a runner up in the Funny Women competition in 2015 and after spending a few years establishing herself on the comedy circuit is embarking on her hotly anticipated first full Edinburgh show.

Justin Moorhouse is never less than hilarious, a true man of the people who can spin comedy gold from thin air in front of your eyes.
