Here are some of the Harrogate restaurants and pubs offering discounts next month

The Government has launched its Eat Out to Help Out scheme, with participating restaurants, bars, pubs and cafes across the country offering discounts to customers through August.

The scheme comes into force on August 3 and will run until August 31. It entitles customers to 50% off food and non-alcoholic drinks up to a total value of £10 per person if they eat or drink in.

Here are some of the establishments across Harrogate which have already confirmed they are taking part. More are set to be added over coming weeks.
