Rhiannon Gayle, Musical Director of Rock Up and Sing!, said: “We are very proud to have been asked to perform at Ripon Cathedral for the third year running and also to be singing for Martin House Hospice this year.

“We are all touched by loss in some way or other and it is an honour and privilege to be able to sing at these services.”

Light Up A Life Services are intended for families who have been associated with Saint Michael’s Hospice and Martin House respectively and who have experienced bereavement, and for people in the local area and community.

Lights on a Christmas tree are dedicated to lost loved ones and it is an opportunity for families to come together to remember their loved ones in a special service.

Mark Clayton from Martin House Hospice said: “We’re looking forward to having the choir with us – it will make the service even more special, along with the lighting of the lights for the children.”
