Physical graffiti for Bedfest in Knaresborough

The Harrogate art gallery which brought Sgt Pepper sleeve designer Sir Peter Blake to town in person is showing its rock n’ roll credentials again by sponsoring part of this Saturday’s free Bedfest.

Held at Henshaws Arts & Crafts Centre, RedHouse Originals gallery is sponsoring the live graffiti by the Leeds Quartz crew. A high profile act, the live art will be happening on 8x4ft boards at the same time as the continuous live music on three stages from noon-midnight.

Also adding to the ambience will be a pop-up poetry event courtesy of Knaresborough’s Release the Hounds fest plus compering from Bottom of the Bottle DJ Trev.

As visitors to last year’s Bedfest will know, the music line-up always features a whole host of local acoustic, indie and rock acts - all playing for free for charity.

The acts include James Sant, Sarah-Louise Boyle, Tre, Adam Tait, Tom Peacock, Dave Rowson, Aaron Bertenshaw, Lence, Arc of Manapples, The Shades, Set Sails, Red Ocean Nectar, PseudoNympho, Modern Day Dukes, Oscilantern, Hell Fire Jack and more.
