It’s not known for being a hotbed of hip-hop, urban, rap or modern soul, (though these things do exist here), which makes the launch night party for a talented Harrogate songstress’s debut album at Lure Bar in Harrogate tomorrow night so unique and, potentially, so special.
Unveiling her album Out of the Blue in a co-presentation with Ont’ Sofa, the talented and likable Smith will be joined by special guest DJ Ras of Damage fame, Harrogate rapper Tre, singer-songwriter Ricky Fleming and duo Mike Jeffs and Rik ordan. Such a bill is rare in Harrogate and it’s testimony to the soulful but spiky Samantha, who combines youth with songwriting talent plus real experience of the trials and tribulations of the music biz in London, that she should share the limelight with such a strong support bill.
The fun – and quality music – starts at 7pm prompt.
Tickets for the eventcost just £3 for this unique event or £7 including the album, which was produced by Rich Huxley of Hope and Social.
