Harrogate's only independent book store is flying the flag for book lovers during Independent Bookshop Week.

Imagined Things bookshop which first opened a year ago at Westminster Arcade on Parliament Street is no stranger to going the extra miles for print publications - even welcoming a Gruffalo through its doors recently.

Don't miss Independent Bookshop Week!

Georgia Duffy, managing director of Imagined Things, is right behind Independent Bookshop Week, which runs from Saturday, June 16 to Saturday, June 23.
Among the ways her pretty shop is supporting it is:

June 16: Launch of Find Wally in Harrogate, on going until the 14th of July.
June 19: The shop's first Book Club which will be happening every month from now on. To join all people have to do is purchase the Book Club book from the shop and go on the list.
All week: Imagined Things is offering exclusive early editions of Oi Cat paperbacks & 2019 Faber & Faber Poetry Diaries.
All week: The chance to win a pile of Philip Pullman books when you buy any book from the shop while stocks last.
June 23: 11am-1pm a book signing with local children's author Jonnie Wild and his book The Carnivorous Crocodile. Jonnie donates all his royalties to wildlife conservation in Africa!

Please note, Wally is actually hiding inside ten Harrogate independent businesses and spotters need to collect cards from each business to get a Wally poster or be entered into our prize draw on July 14.
