A Star Wars actor is the big name at Harrogate's first-ever TV and film Comic Con this weekend.
Tim Rose, who will be back in the studio shooting Star Wars: Episode VIII next year, is only one of several coups at Harrogate Comic Con.
Also appearing at Rossett Sports Centre this Saturday will be a former Doctor Who and a star of Red Dwarf.
Organised by two local brothers, Paul and Gary Scarbrough, the event will see all three guest celebrities holding signing sessions for fans.
Rose, a puppeteer as well as an actor, first appeared as Admiral Ackbar, the military commander of the Rebel Alliance, back in 1983 in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, (1983), a role which he reprised in last year's world-wide box office smash Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015).

This exciting event runs from 10am to 4pm and also includes have cosplay costume competitions, a full size Tardis from Dr Who, prop replica vehicles from Fast and Furious movie and stalls selling all different types of memorabilia on TV and film.
Entry costs £3 for adults £3, £1.50 for under-16's while under 5's go free.
