Tonight: Marsicans star in great indie music night at Major Tom's, Harrogate

Major Tom's in Harrogate is hosting a brilliant nightl of indie pop tonight, Tuesday.

Highly-rated Leeds band Marsicans are playing Major Tom's Social on The Ginnel in Harrogate tonight, Tuesday, February 23.

The band, were described by Leeds Music Scene as "upbeat indie meets dirty pop". This Leeds' four-piece consisting of James, Oli, Rob and Cale have released several EPs, including The Chivalry EP in 2014, which won airplay on BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6Music.

Their latest track, Arms Of Another, is another classic slice of indie guitar pop.

It’s not the only steps Major Tom’s craft beer bar located on The Ginnel off Parliament Street is taking to boost the town’s live music scene.April will see it play host to two of Yorkshire’s greatest acoustic acts – Serious Sam Barrett and David Broad.The bar-venue is also the home of not-for-profit Charm nights with local acts such as Paper Waits, Dan Webster and Summer City and Leeds bands such as Cowtown and Chaika.
