RIP David Bowie: His Top 13 greatest-ever tracks

I loved David Bowie but was privileged to see him live on stage just once - in 1995 at Sheffield Arena during his tour for the Outside album recorded with Brian Eno; the tour where Morrissey infamously bailed out as support act at the last minute.

Playing in front of Greco-Roman columns it was a fairly pretentious, way out, wayward show - with a few moments of greatnesss.

I hasten to add that Bowie, whose father was born in Doncaster, was not doing a ‘greatest hits show’ at that time.
