Paul Mirfin said: “It’s a new sound for us; a bit more rocky than before with Tom Petty/Mumford & Sons influences but you can still tell its us.

“We had to practice our parts individually and go into the studio one at a time which meant we hadn’t actually played the song together in the same room for nearly five months.

“We actually wrote the song back in October 2019 whilst on tour in the mountains of Slovenia and had only played it live a couple of times before lockdown put a pause on things.

“It’s due to the work of our production team and a few small miracles along the way that this song is now ready to be released!”

The new track, which will be available on all streaming sites, has received rave reviews.

Ian Surgenor of YO1 Radio said: “It’s a total change of direction from The Paul Mirfin Band; moody and sultry yet driven by a great groove beat. The vocal sits beautifully on a Tom Petty style driven chug and it works so well.”
