HG1 Radio hails new single by Harrogate teenage musician Josh Holmes as 'brilliant'

A new track by a Harrogate teenage musician busy with his A level revision in the run-up to his mock exams is winning rave reviews.

Josh Holmes, 17, has successfully recorded three tracks in this year of lockdowns and restrictions and school closures.

One of them, Sublime Love is already proving popular on Spotify and Amazon and has received some good radio coverage, too.

Josh kicked off all this creativity as lockdown began.

He self-funded buying his equipmen , then wrote and performed each track before investing in studio production.

Sublime Love is a memorably glossy, soulful and sophisticated slice of sensual super pop.

After a preview on HG1 Radio, the station described the track as “absolutely brilliant. "
