Released in the UK on Stiff Records on 30 September 1977, Dury's debut album was ranked at number 2 in the NME writers' list of the albums of the year for 1977 and its reputation has grown stronger with each year since Dury died in 2000.

Harrogate's premier soul and vinyl expert Ian Smith will present a talk about the album along with input from the Harrogate Advertiser's Graham Chalmers.

Music fans are invited to join in the event on Zoom, including a playback in full via an amazing JVC turntable with legendary Shure V15III cartridge via a 1976 Nikko Receiver front end.

The event will start at 7.30pm prompt.

Vinyl Sessions organiser Colin Paine said: "The event has always been about raising vital funds for Friends of Harrogate Hospital & Harrogate Healthcare NHS Trust but, in these challenging and worrying times we all face, let's try also to create a few smiles with our online events.

"Our online events are run on 2 platforms first Zoom for the presentation with the team and Jim Dobb's Video Show then Nidd Stream for the High Quality Stereo Audio.

"This is streamed live from vinyl and you need both applications running OR you can use 2 devices such as PC and IPad/phone etc."
