Set The Pace, which is available now on Sound Cloud, features ten tracks.

Lence, who holds rap workshops for pupils in Leeds primary schools, describes his style thus: “expressing my thoughts on society and my personal life through rhymes, fusing a passionate style with reflective lyrics constructed intricately and delivered at pace.”

Set the Pace is awash in melodic samples, subtle breakbeats and snatches of recorded dialogue, creating a spacy platform for Lence’s prowling vocals and intelligent observations on his life and wider social issues.
