In response to the latest Government Covid announcement, which requires the hospitality industry to close at 10pm every night, Fashion House Bistro is introducing new tapas style dishes to appeal to those looking for an early evening bite to eat.

In addition, its weekly Sunday music offering will be acoustic sessions performed between 5pm and 7.30pm, by an array of different artists, and from Wednesday, there will be a new, weekly quiz.

Fashion House Bistro, located on Swan Road, was opened by fashion photographer David Dresser in July, shortly after the Government sanctioned the reopening of pubs, bars and restaurants.

David said: “The new restrictions are going to have a big impact on the hospitality business and, as a result, we are adapting our offering accordingly.

“From Sunday, we are introducing new, ‘tapas-style’ dishes, aimed at those looking for a light-bite straight after work and early doors at the weekend which will be served from 5.30pm onwards.

Our live music will be also be starting and finishing earlier on a Sunday to accommodate the 10pm deadline.

"And from Wednesday, September 30, we are also introducing a weekly quiz night, which will take place between 7pm and 9pm.

“‘Eat Out to Help Out’ was a tremendous success, but I fear that the industry may need another Government-backed initiative to help it survive the next six months.”
