Free day of live music at Bed Fest in Knaresborough
Organised by Rufus Beckett and supported by Roosters brewery of Knaresborough, this free music festival on June 11 runs at Henshaws Arts & Crafts Centre, noon to-midnight.
Packed with local talent, the best-known acts on the line-up are probably trip hop-electronica outfit Fold whose fans include BBC 6 Music’s Lauren Laverne, Huey Morgan, Gideon Coe and Don Letts; Leeds alt-rock band Treason Kings and amazing new punk goddess Louise Distras, who’s been described as “the love child Patti Smith and Billy Bragg never had” by Louder Than War music website.
