Countdown to dazzling light show in Harrogate town centre tonight as part of Raworths Harrogate Literature Festival

A dazzling light installation for all the family will transform part of Harrogate town centre tonight.

As famous authors take to the Raworths Harrogate Literature Festival digital stage today, Friday, literature will also come to life in the streets of Harrogate with a spectacular light installation in the form of a book.

From 6pm, as dusk falls, the 'pages' will turn and this giant book will share its well-known tales from the Jaberwocky to the Gashlycrumb Tinies, the story of our spa town and a host of ten-word tales from best-selling authors and Harrogate residents.

Located at Library Gardens on Station Parade, there will be plenty of room for watching, whilst at the same ensuring social distancing can be safely observed.

Presented as part of the Raworths Harrogate Literature Festival, by Harrogate International Festivals, the event has been kindly supported by Harrogate Business Improvement District (BID).

The light installation will also be on display from 6pm tomorrow, Saturday.
