Come together - 43 Harrogate musicians unite for new video in lockdown

A young Harrogate musician has put together a stunning new video during lockdown.

George Farrar, 22, a talented drummer with a wealth of experience under his belt already, brought together 43 of his friends and his mum’s NHS team by digital means for the video which he has posted on his Facebook page.

The video features a new song George has written called That Don’t Mean We Need To Cry which reflects the current climate we are all living in.

Among the Harrogate musicians taking part are Dan Mizen, Holly Rose Webber, Paul Mirfin and a whole host more.

Whilst studying, George started playing live professionally at the age of 13, playing venues across the country attaining first hand experience of the music industry.

George underwent his first tour at the age of 16 whilst studying A Levels at Harrogate Grammar School with Jersey Boys show The Ragdolls, quickly gained valuable experience touring as a musician on the road and continues to tour Britain and Europe.

George became a finalist in Young Drummer Of The Year 2015 and in the Yamaha Future Beat competition in 2016, attaining recognition in the industry.

In the summer of 2019 George attended world renowned drummer Thomas Langs Big Drum Bonanza in Los Angeles California.
