Harrogate Vinyl Sessions is back online next  week - with the focus on the biggest-selling album of the 20th century in the USA.

Taking place via Zoom next Wednesday, December 30, the online live event will raise vital funds for Friends of Harrogate Hospital and Harrogate Healthcare NHS Trust.

Featuring a live playback in full on vinyl and vintage hi fi the Vinyl Sessions team will focus on The Eagles - Their Greatest Hits (1971–1975).

First released in February 1976, the album has sold nearly 45 million copies worldwide.

Focusing on the classic band’s early years, it contains hit singles such as Take It Easy, Take It To The Limit, Best Of My Love and One Of These Nights.

The online fun will start at 7.30pm with an introduction by Vinyl Sessions founder Colin Paine.

There will then follow a full profile of the album by “Professor of Pop” Graham Chalmers, of the Harrogate Advertiser, along with a video from Jim Dobbs during playback of the album in full around 8pm.
