As the ‘go to cultural series’ in the North, Harrogate’s own Berwins Salon North has always been at the forefront of these ideas.

January will see it offer the perfect tonic to the post-American election and current lockdown blues

Presented by Harrogate International Festivals, this month’s Salon will feature not three but four world-class speakers, whose 30-minute slots are designed to make the audience sit up, take notice and even question their own lifestyles.

Beaming in to join host Helen Bagnall will be British philosopher, journalist and author Julian Baggini, psychologists Prof James Danckert and John Eastwood, and journalist Lauren Bravo.
