Band's concert tribute to Sir Terry Wogan

By popular demand, Brighouse and Rastrick Band will perform the Floral Dance when it joins forces with Harrogate Gilbert and Sullivan Society for the annual Christmas Concerts at the Royal Hall Harrogate on Saturday at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.

The Floral Dance us associated with the late Sir Terry Wogan, who recorded a version in 1978.

Since Sir Terry’s death earlier this year, the Band have been called upon to perform it several times as a tribute to the broadcaster.

The programme will also include a version of Silent Night featuring the trombone of Ryan Watkins, Sleigh Ride and, together with the singers of the Harrogate Gilbert and Sullivan Society, the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah.
