Vaccine rolls out to Knaresborough care home

Residents and carers at a Knaresborough care home have received the Covid-19 vaccination following the government’s plan to prioritise care home residents and carers as part of its vaccination roll-out programme.

The residents of Anchor’s The Manor House care home on Hambleton Grove were offered the vaccination on January 13 and healthcare teams vaccinated all residents at the home.

Members of the team at The Manor House were also able to receive the vaccination on the same day.

“The care team have been doing a wonderful job of looking after us and having the vaccination provides an extra layer of protection and peace of mind.”

Adel Pangilinan, Manager of The Manor House said: “The vaccination roll-out has gone really well and we are delighted that care home residents and workers are being prioritised.

“Our residents have received their vaccination along with our care colleagues.”
