Improving Harrogate RU took on Yorkshire rivals Otley for the first time in nearly six years at the weekend in it was a thriller of an encounter.

An impressive display from the home side – including tries from Chris Jackson and Jacob Percival – was not quite enough as Otley came away with a 10-16 victory that put them 4th in the table and left Harrogate in 14th.
