Ripon Grammar School teacher Helen Mackenzie has received one of the highest accolades in the world of VX.
The sport, founded in the city of Ripon, has voted Mackenzie into its Hall of Fame - the highest honour that can be bestowed in VX.
She has played a key role in developing the sport at RGS and made Ripon host of VX England’s National Centre of Excellence.
The School now runs House Matches in VX as well as incorporating it into the KS4 and KS5 Curriculum.
Helen has also played a major part in the England VX Squad coaching staff.
Paul Hildreth, Global VX executive director said: “I am sure this will be a very popular appointment to the Hall of Fame.
“This is the highest award that can be given in VX and is a recognition and appreciation for all Helen has done for the sport.”
