Here's an assessment of how Simon Weaver's players performed on the night. PICTURES: MATT KIRKHAM.
James Belshaw 7. The Town stopper made a couple of important saves to keep his side in the game when the score was 1-0.
Ryan Fallowfield 8. ADVERTISER STAR MAN. Was Towns only real threat in the first half, providing width down the right. Showed a cool head in front of goal to net a priceless late equaliser.
Will Smith 6. A couple of edgy moments at the back including a poor clearing header that led to the Wrexham goal, but made some key blocks and didnt allow the hosts too many other chances.
Connor Hall 7. The big centre-half was dominant in the air and hardly put a foot wrong throughout the 90 minutes.
George Smith 6. Looked nervy at times and gave away the spot-kick that could have seen the game get away from Town.
Alex Bradley 6. Probably his quietest appearance in a Town shirt. Wasnt as influential as he usually is.
Warren Burrell 7. Got about the pitch well and snuffed out a few home attacks, but never really dominated proceedings.
Josh Falkingham 6. The Town skipper is still getting up to full speed after an injury lay-off. Misplaced a couple of early passes, but helped the visitors stay on top of Wrexham during their best spell in the game.
Brendan Kiernan 6. Couldnt follow up his match-winning display last time out with another goal on a frustrating evening.
Mark Beck 6. Was a handful but often came off second best up against Dragons captain Shaun Pearson. Did however win a key header in the build-up to Town's goal.
