Nidderdale League: Record-breaking Aussie returning to Knaresborough Forest

Record breaking batsman Aaron Brunner will return to newly-promoted Knaresborough Forest as their overseas player for 2016 Theakstons Nidderdale League season.

Brunner broke the league record for the most runs scored in a season last year as he helped Forest win promotion to Division One.

The Australian all-rounder scored 1,778 runs, including 10 centuries from 21 games.

The Trees will be looking for more in the 2016 campaign as they bid to establish themselves in the league’s top tier.

"I’m really looking forward to coming back to play for the Trees in Division One," said Brunner.
